We meet on the first Saturday afternoon of each month, at 1.30 in Napier Hall, Hide Place (just off Vincent Square) Westminster, London. At each meeting we have a lecture on an orchid subject, except for the January meeting when a plant auction is held. Members show their plants, which are judged and prizes awarded, followed by a short talk about their merits, cultivation, etc. Refreshments; plants for sale and purchase; a raffle with orchid plants as prizes; and the opportunity to borrow books from our extensive library, are available at these meetings.

Under an acre of glass we produce from our laboratory crops of Phalaenopsis, Cymbidium and other genera in demand by the commercial florist industry as pot plants and some cut bloom.

The Chiltern Orchid Society was formed in July 1993. Its membership is drawn from all levels of knowledge, from the novice through to the professional and from all ages. Our principal aim is to inspire the love of orchids and to further their understanding and growing, mindful of their need for conservation. Royden Orchids house a wide range of mainly South and Central American species. We have an especial intrest in the Pleurothallidina, and maintain comprehensive stocks of the main genera in this group. Our collections of Masdevallias (450+ species) and Draculas (over 100 species) now rank with the worlds largest.

he Southern Counties Orchid Society exists to encourage the cultivation and further the knowledge of orchidaceous plants, and to enjoy the company of like-minded people. We are a very diverse group from all walks of life, some of us have just a few plants that we keep on a windowsill, whilst others have whole greenhouses dedicated to orchids alone; Most of us have other interests too. The Society hosts its own show in March each year.

The North Hampshire Orchid Society was formed on 22nd September 1985 by a group of people enthusiastic about orchids and the society now has around 35 members. We meet regularly, usually on the third Sunday of the month in East Oakley Village Hall, Hill Road, East Oakley, RG23 7JJ - the exceptions for 2010 are listed on the Programme page.

The artificially propagated hardy orchids we sell are grown here at our nursery near Winchester. We also have an extensive propagation program for species and hybrids which provides our nursery with exciting additions.
