Sunset Valley Orchids is located in Vista, California about 30 miles north of San Diego and 60 miles south of Los Angeles. The nursery has grown considerably over the last few years and the greenhouses space now exceeds 30,000 sq. ft. Our breeding efforts are focused on the development of superior hybrids for the orchid enthusiasts. We work in several genera including; Cattleya, Catasetinae, Paphiopedilum, Australian Dendrobium and Bulbophyllum. All plants are produced in our laboratory and raised from seed at the nursery. The lab processes over 200 new hybrids annually. Our plants are selected on strict criteria of robust growth and ease to flower. This is accomplished by selecting the most vigorous growing plants throughout the; flasking, community trays, and growing on stages. This grading results in the strongest and best plants for both our customers and for our own future breeding. We stand 100% behind the quality of our plants and Fred Clarke is always available to talk to you about Orchids.
